Meenmutty Waterfall is located in the Wayanad District of Kerala, India, 29 kilometres from Kalpetta. With three levels and a height of 300 metres, it is a waterfall. Combining the words meen and mutty in Malayalam gives us meenmutty. It is reachable via the Mananthavady-Kuttiady road. Due to the large influx during the wet seasons, Meenmutty waterfalls are hazardous, and numerous drownings have occurred since 1991. The hike to Meenmutty Falls is a memorable one for visitors because it is flanked by lush green tea plantations.
