About: The Dibru Saikhowa National Park is bounded by the Brahmaputra and Lohit rivers in the north and Dibru River in the south. Canebrakes, grasslands, moist mixed deciduous woods, and moist mixed semi-evergreen forests make up the majority of the area. Its tropical monsoon environment features a hot, rainy summer and a cold, often dry winter. It is the largest salix swamp forest in north-eastern India. It has a wide variety of fish and is a sanctuary for many endangered species. The park was first established to protect the habitat of the endangered white-winged wood duck, but it is now home to a variety of endangered species, including water buffalo, black-breasted parrotbills, tigers, and capped langurs. Eco-lodges are also present in the park.
