About: The Narora Nuclear Power Plant has two pressurised heavy-water reactors (PHWRs), each of which can generate 220 MW of power. The power plants IN-7 Narora 1 and IN-8 Narora 2 have two working units. It is a baseload power plant that is currently in operation. PHWRs are employed in this plant. Medical and agricultural uses of the radioisotopes and nuclear energy generated by the power station.
