The Barkana Waterfalls formed by the Seetha River, are one of the top ten highest waterfalls in India and situated near to Agumbe in the Shimoga district of Karnataka. Only during the rainy season does this water fall location become full of water. Barkana Waterfalls , which has a height of roughly 500 feet and is situated at a distance of 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) from Agumbe, is encircled by a dense Western Ghats forest.
