A landmark called the Charminar is situated in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. The monument, which was built in 1591, serves as a representation of Hyderabad and is officially a part of the Telangana state flag. Muhammad Quli Qutb Shah, the fifth king of the Qutb Shahi dynasty, moved his capital from Golconda to the newly founded city of Hyderabad in 1591 and began construction on the Charminar.
