Shivanasamudra waterfall be found along the boundary between the Indian states of Karnataka and the Malavalli Taluk, Mandya District, Kollegala Taluk, and Chamarajanagara District. It is located alongside the Kaveri river, which serves as the district boundary between Chamarajanagara and Mandya.
