Unchalli Falls, also called Lushington Falls, is a waterfall that is the result of the River Aghanashini dropping 116 meters (381 feet). The distance between Sirsi and the falls is 35 kilometers (22 miles). J. D. Lushington, a district collector for the British Government who found the falls in 1845, is honored by having the falls bear his name. Because of the loud noise the falls create, they are sometimes referred to as Keppa Joga.
